Fishing in the Northwest
by Steve Egner ini spent father's day weekend in the foothills of washington's cascade mountains, a couple of hours north of my home in edmonds.
we were fishing glacially fed streams and creeks, colored a milky blue from glacial runoff and snowmelt.
we camped in a part of the mt.

According to the bible.....what were birds made of?
by gumby inaccording to the bible, man was made from the ground.....the dirt.. do you know what "fowls" were made from?
take your pick.. from the waters.gen.1:20-21"and god said, let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.
and god created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and god saw that it was good.

The Minds of Billy Milligan
by Steve Egner in"the minds of billy milligan" was written by daniel keyes, who may be better known for his work, "flowers for algernon.".
a few of the remarks made in recent threads regarding "enlightenment" and "spiritual awakening" made me recall the book, although it's been roughly 20 years since i've read it.
i can still remember the day i bought it, at my favorite half price books on guadalupe, in austin, tx.. unlike "flowers for algernon", tmbm is non-fiction.
